Margarita Blue is a restaurant-bar, which opened its doors 4 years ago, where we can taste a wide variety of Tex-Mex dishes at a good price or to have a drink in the evening or at night. Since it opened its doors it has always enjoyed a great public attendance; we find young, fresh and friendly people, and there are also foreigners of all places that visit our city. This is because the bar is known beyond our borders and it is published in the majority of tourist guides of the whole world.

Its principal peculiarity are their drinks. The name of the establishment refers to the star cocktail of the house, Margarita Blue: Tequila, lime, triple dry, sugar and the just point of curaçao to give the blue typical colour. You can not leave to taste it!

The place is managed by Teresa Reyes, who has known this sector for lots of years, she organizes parties and entertainments in the bar where amusement is assured. This way, they try that nobody gets bored offering performances; as GiGi's transform performance every Tuesday night and the spectacle of trapeze every Wednesday night. Dj's, thematic parties, surprises, poetry meetings and other events.

The food of Margarita Blue is of Tex-Mex type. We can go and have dinner, from 20:00 to 1:30 h. to the carte, where we find refreshing plates to very good price; it is better to go soon because the place has few tables and it is not possible to book. On the other hand, we can also have some tapas or snacks (guacamole, nachos, etc.) while we are in the bar chatting or having a drink.

Its decoration is another success of the place. We might define it like eclectic with a mixture between the good ancient taste and the most current ultramodern decoration. We can see chairs designed by Agatha Ruíz de la Prada with its strident so typical colours (fuchsia, red, yellow) ancient mirrors hung at the principal wall and a great mosaic, that although it is not very visible due to the amount of people, it is worth to be watched at.

It is a place that surprises where anything can happen and where we find a mixture of bar and restaurant simultaneously; those who want to have an intimate dinner, forget it, it is practically impossible. On the contrary we can do different things without going out of the establishment; eat, drink, speak, take part of the party and know new people, since this bar is a meeting point for different multicultural styles.
