Bel-Air is a new hotel of four stars located in the street Lepanto of Barcelona, next to the Sagrada Familia of Gaudi. It was inaugurated in May 2001 and it has two modern buildings equipped with the last infrastructures.

At Hotel Bel-Air, everything still seems new as it was inaugurated only a few months ago. The hotel isn't in the centre of Barcelona but it's location is good. It's located next to the most emblematic modernist building of the architect Antonio Gaudí: the impressive Sagrada Familia. The hotel is near an important net of public transport, underground line 5 and 4 that go to the Plaza Catalunya or to the Paseo de Gracia in ten minutes and buses that go to the Plaza España and Feria de muestras.

In the entry of the hotel we find a spacious hall where we find the reception, and the bar where we can read or chat calmly. The Hotel decoration is modern and very elegant with red and white tones.

Xavi, the reception's head, shows us the hotel and comments that there are rooms still in construction but that they will be finished very soon. The dining room is big enough and attractive, with white and blue colours and natural light. It has a capacity for approximately 60 peoples who can enjoy a magnificent buffet breakfast very varied.

The hotel has 94 rooms distributed between two buildings. These two buildings connect at the ground and first floor, and both buildings have the same structure. The rooms are spacious enough with very good decoration with the same colours that characterize the rest of the hotel. The double rooms have T.V. with channel of payment, connection to Internet, safe box , minibar; and wash-basins with hydro-massage and it made of marble. Xavi explain us that there are some rooms that are more isolated and these rooms are communicated. This rooms are ideal for couples with children.

This is a 4 stars hotel with a nice price. The hotel is full of business people that visit Barcelona for congresses or other events. Bel-Air has 2 big meeting- rooms, for cocktails and other celebrations. One of the rooms has panels, so that it is possible to make it bigger or smaller.
