The palace was built between 1927 and 1928 by the architect Ramón Raventós, and opened by King Alfonso XIII in 1929 to celebrate the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona. The landscaped area surrounding the hotel and is most Mediterranean in origin. Classic Room with views: Rooms with natural light, of 25sqm approximately. They have private terrace with views to the gardens of the hotel and/or Barcelona and the Mediterranean sea. Superior Room with views: Rooms with natural light of 30sqm. They are bigger than Classic Rooms, the most of them have private terrace with views to the gardens of the hotel and/or Barcelona and the Mediterranean sea. Deluxe Room: Deluxe Rooms have a surface of 35 sqm, bathroom with two different spaces with bath and shower. They are bigger than Superior Rooms and most of then have private terrace with views to the gardens of the hotel and/or Barcelona and the Mediterranean sea. Junior Suite: The Junior Suite is an special room whose surface is over 40sqm. It has a privated lounge of 14 sqm with a meeting table up to 8 people. Also, it has a dressing room and bathroom with different spaces with bath and shower. All rooms have a private terrace. Miramar Suite: It is a marvellous suite with a total surface of 72sqm . It has a separate lounge of 14sqm for meeting , up to 8 people and with a private entrance. Also, it has and bathroom with different spaces with bath and shower. This Suite has a private terrace with an spectacular view over the Mediterranean sea and Barcelona. Presidential Suite: The Presidential Suite is the most special and wonderful room of the hotel. It has a private lounge, a dressing room and bathroom with different spaces with bath and shower. This Suite has a private terrace of 13sqm with an splendid Jacuzzi where you will enjoy spectacular views over the Mediterranean sea and Barcelona.
