This
is an itinerary thought for families, young or elders who wish to
enjoy walking through the old city, the area known at present as
Barri Gòtic.
Our
ancestors had wanted to ornate their houses with all kind of animals
(monkeys, elephants, unicorns, turtles,....) and some of them have
been carved in the most striking places.
This
is the theme and the story around which we will organise our stroll.
The itinerary will be done on foot and we will end near Carrer Petrixol,
one of the most typical streets of the Old City. There, you will
find many "Granges", Catalunya's version of tearooms. Anybody feeling
like it will enjoy tasting a hot chocolate in any of these.
Here
are some of the highlights of the itinerary: Plaça de la Catedral;
Pati de la Casa del Ardiaca; Claustre de la Catedral; Temple Romà
d'August; Plaça del Rei; Plaça Sant Jaume; Plaça del Pi y Carrer
