This
monastery is in Avenida de Pedralbes near the Pedralbes Cross. The
church and the monastery date from the 14th century and are in a
marked Gothic style.
The
monastery enclosure is formed by an inner courtyard with a beautiful
garden and a well from the Renaissance period.
Inside the Monastery is the Monastery Museum, with collections of
Medieval paintings and sculptures and liturgical ornaments, as well
as a very important part of the Thyssen collection, one of the most
complete art collections of the world, acquired by the Spanish State.
