This
hidden square occupies the land of the former Medieval cemetery.
The
church of the same name, built between 1748 and 1752, can be found
in the square. The former Tinkers' and Shoemakers' guilds were located
here, the latter now housing the Old Shoe
Museum, where the visitor can see shoes from the 16th,
17th 18th and 20th centuries.
The
marks of recent history are also visible in this Square, where we
can see bullet and shrapnel marks from the Spanish Civil War, from
when the pro-Franco forces took Barcelona.
