close to air port, very good breakfast choice and quality
Not up to expectations:

Great hotel, impressed. Location good, and if you have qualms about getting to airport on time, stay here on the last night. It's 2 minutes away and they offer free shuttle to and fro. Just call them when you arrive and they'll get you. In fact, make sure you do as the taxis charge min. 12.30 euro plus a baggage surcharge per item. The meter read 3 euros when we arrived but the fare with our 3 bags was 15 euros.
Walking distance to train (not metro) station and you can get to the heart of Barcelona for 1.20 euros each. Be warned it takes about 25 minutes, but it could take that long in rush hour by car.
Clean, safe seeming for an industrial/commercial area.
Hotel is very nice, modern, new, marble floors, modeled after an Itlian palace. Rooms are really nice, clean, comfortable, but obviously don't expect a view as this is the industrail section.
Free mini bar, free wi fi, nice dipping pool and hot tub, sauna, stairmasters, really excellent place and great price.

Recently stayed at Hotel Cuitat del Prat in Barcelona the night before leaving Spain. The rooms were clean and spacious. They do need to do some renovations as the hallway carpets were worn. But the lobby is very nice and the front desk staff were helpful and courteous. The plus here is its close proximity to the airport and free airport shuttle which runs 24/7. Our shuttle driver patiently waited with us at the airport as our relatives returned their rental car, that was a surprise. Got a great rate online.

Not much to add from other reviewers. Excellent hotel and location.
We stayed there 2 days ago as we had an early flight back to the States on Sunday.
Very nice room. TV. Free mini-bar (no alcohol). Free shuttle to the airport, about a 8-10 min. ride.
Train station to Barcelona city is close also. 10 min. walk. and will cost you 1.20 euro for a one way ticket.
I suggest you skip breakfast in the hotel and go to a really good pastry/cafe half a block away. When you exit the hotel, make a right down that main street and it is at the end of the block. Great coffee and pastries for a few euros.
If you want a good pizza for diner make a right when you exit the hotel and walk about half a block. It is the first restaurant you will find. Makes really good pizzas out of some kind of local bread. Very interesting, and really yummy.
Highly recommended and you can also sleep in as it is so close to the airport.

Our family of four stayed just one night en route for the Costa Brava after a late evening arrival at Barcelona airport.
The airport shuttle worked just fine and we were not left waiting too long at the airport. The front desk was excellent, making us feel very welcome on arrival and providing very good advice about public transport the following morning. The rooms were very comfortable indeed and the sumptuous marble bathrooms very well equipped. As well as the usual toiletries the hotel also provided a shaving kit, disposable toothbrush and show polish. The minibar was stocked with soft drinks at no extra cost. There were very good business facilities with free wi fi and nice conference rooms.
The breakfast was hard to fault-perhaps the only negative was the fact that the orange juice was not the genuine article. The small indoor pool was open very early and it was a welcome change in this day and age to be able to use the pool before breakfast.
Okay, the hotel is in an industrial location, but it is primarily an airport hotel and surely meant for short stays. We did not pay an excessive amount for what the hotel offered and felt we had good value for money. We were very impressed indeed and would love to have picked it up and taken it with us further up the coast! |

If you need to be near the Barcelona airport then this is the hotel. Upon our arrival to the airport we called for a free shuttle. It arrived within 15-20 minutes. The pickup point is outside between terminals B&C and has a sign listing the hotels serviced. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet and the room was a good size. The fitness room was really small but fit our needs. We skipped breakfast and went down the street. Like another reviewer wrote, turn right outside the door and go down a couple blocks. On the right side is a good bakery with coffee too. Overall, a great deal and the service & staff were excellent. |
