Can you give me a ride?
Barcelona launches an original public transport that may be very useful in your urban routes. Barcelona put into practice this innovative idea in order to make your life easier and at the same time taking care of the environment!
How does it work? Bicing is understood like a new kind of public transport to move between two Bicing stations, there are places located in strategic points to benefit the links with other kind of transports. So, in each station you will find some bicycles available that you might get or, on the other hand, free spaces to give it back.
The Bicing system Works through a personalized card that you are not allowed to transfer to anyone. This special card is the element that recognize you as a user of the system and that you must have necessarily to pick a bicycle up or to return it. This nominal cards will be valid for a year, and will allow you to use the Bicing bycicles for 30 minutes, as many times you want in the whole day. If you are going to use it more than half and hour in each route, Bicicling will charge you 30 cents every 30 minutes.
